Fried Almonds in Ghee
Eyal Shpringer
This simple Ayurvedic recipe of fried almonds in ghee is taken from Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine. It is used to treat Vata imbalances, specifically cold, dryness, and anxiety conditions.
The recipe is commonly used in Ayurvedic diagnosis-based treatments for nervous system disorders, including various conditions defined as Vata disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease, seizures, racing thoughts, restlessness, and epilepsy. The recipe is perfect for thin people with dry skin and during the autumn when the weather becomes very dry. It makes a tasty snack or addition to salads, grains, or vegetables.
